Textbooks in English is one of the best ways to
acquire vocabulary, and be a guide for both the student and teacher.
This activity is focus on visual learning according to this characteristics:
Look at the teacher's face intently
Use lists to organize their thoughts
Recall information by remembering how it was set out on a page
Methodology: The teacher will make an introduction about simple past, with respective explaining and examples, also every student choose a picture and they make a description about the image using past simple; following the teacher will reinforce the activity with a video with more examples and pronunciation of simple past.
Materials: A textbook, posters
Explaining: The past simple is for past actions. Indicate the time period during which it developed and completed a completed action. It is usual to be accompanied by an adverb of time.
